Cedric Leon Walker, 48, of Decatur, IL, passed away February 16, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL.
Cedric was born February 14, 1972 in Clarksdale, MS, the son of Tyrone Gordon and Clara Walker.
Cedric was a laborer within a factory in E. Moline. He enjoyed watching Sunday Night football, eating turkey necks and okra, and loved spending time with family.
Surviving are his parents, Tyrone Gordon and Clara (Walker) Foster, children Porsha Jones of Decatur, Lorenzo Harper of Decatur, Brandon Grider (Lateara) of Decatur, Chelsea Grider of Decatur; siblings, Clara walker of Decatur, Sidney Walker of Decatur, Christopher Walker of Decatur, IL, Tameka Gordon of Decatur, IL, Tara Gordon of Decatur, IL, Tasha Gordon of Decatur, IL, Gwen Gordon of Decatur, IL, Tyrone Gordon Jr of Decatur, IL, Jeremiah Gordon of Decatur, Jerry Walker of Decatur; grandchildren, Briayon, Briaylee, Bri’laysha, Donovan, Cayden, La’mia, La’naya, La’ryah; and significant other, Hillary Vest.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jesse Lee Walker, infant son, Cedric and grandparents, David and Hannah Walker.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM – 12:45 PM Friday 28, 2020 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home, with burial taking place 1:00 PM Friday at Greenwood Cemetery.
