Charles David Brown's Obituary
Charles David Brown 67 of Decatur died Wednesday September 15, 2004 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services Celebrating his life will be 10 am Monday in Heartland Community Church visitation will be 2-4 pm Sunday in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Charles was born February 12, 1937 in Trilla the son of Edward and Maggie Porter Brown. He served his country proudly in Navy from 1956 thru 1962. He worked as a fork lift driver for over 32 years at Firestone in Decatur. He was a member of Heartland Community Church. He married Magdaline Wszeborowski in Decatur on February 12, 1995, she survives.
Also surviving include his children, James Brown and wife Dawn of Decatur, Pat Miller of Jewett, Sherry Gant and husband Dave of Mt. Zion, Joyce Bruner and husband Dan of Perrysburg, OH and his step children include James Hoobter and wife Maria of Arlington, TX and Russell Gould of Pensacola, FL his five daughter include,, Becky Knight and husband Parnel of Sylvania, GA., Gerrie Stephens and husband Bob of Stillwater, OK. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two sisters, Eleanor Ward and Monzel Watson of Indiana also survive.
Charles was preceded in death by Parents, one brother, three sisters and one grandson.
