Charles B. Dahl's Obituary
Charles B. “Chuck” Dahl, 60, of Decatur passed away at 8:35 pm Wednesday December 21, 2005 surrounded by his loving family and friends in his home.
Gathering of family and friends will be 1 pm Tuesday December 27, 2005 in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, a tribute to his life will immediately follow also in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the Dahl family with these arrangements.
Chuck was born in Chicago on June 21, 1945 the son of Irving and Carrie Smith Dahl. He worked as an electrician for many years in the area. He married Barbara Wisherd on April 2, 1987 in Chicago, she survives. He was a recent member of Maranatha Assembly of God Church.
Chuck leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara of Decatur, his children; Joseph, Glen, Michael, Caroline and Michelle; his sisters, Sharon and Diana, his brothers, Christian and Irving, Jr. , grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, and Libby. He also will miss the birth of his granddaughter, Jaidynn Dawn, who will be born in April of 2006.
Chuck was preceded in death by both of his parents, 2 sisters, his best friend, Joseph Cervantis, his wives parents.
The family would like to thank these special people for there care and concern, James and Katie, Becky, Kathleen Taylor, Ruiz, and Gail.
