Janet, I am so sorry. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have so many fond memories of Chuck over the years we went to school together. Some of my favorites are football memories from our senior year. On the field Chuck was a fierce competitor, off the field – a great, warm, cheerful friend. I am so glad that you and Chuck were at our reunion this past September and that I had the opportunity to have a good conversation with him and to listen to him tell what he (and you) were now doing. Again, please know that you are in our prayers.Garrett Graham
Uncle Chuck and I shared a love for our country, football & Peanut Butter Crunch! Following in his footsteps to serve in the United States Air Force changed my life for the better and made me a stronger, more confident young man. I will always remember him giving me his old service jacket the night before I left for basic training. In his wisdom, he immediately recognized how amazingly special my future wife was the day he met her. She must have reminded him of Janet. ??Thank you for serving our country and for all the fond memories Uncle Chuck. You will be missed. – Tommy
Janet, all of us at Steak n Shake are heartbroken over Chucks passing. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you will still visit us.
Chuck and I were best friends as children growing up in Tuscola. At our 50th class reunion this fall, Chuck, Janet, my wife Sara and I spent most of the evening reminiscing our fun times together and comparing the similarities in our lives. I was flattered when he recalled the day 60 years ago we each put a penny into an empty coffee can and buried it in my backyard declaring we would be "friend brothers" forever. I had held the same feelings all these years too. God bless you Chuck, for the person you remained all these years.
Janet and Greg, We are so very sorry for your loss! You are in our prayers. May your strong faith comfort and sustain you. Janet, you and Chuck have raised a wonderful son, Greg, and I know God is welcoming Chuck right now as "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"In sympathy, Ronda and Steve Smith, from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
Rae-Lynne and I are heart-broken at the news of Chuck's passing. We were in Memphis, TN, when we received the news. Needless to say, it hit us hard. We are sending our deepest condolences to Chuck's family. Our wonderful neighbor will always have a place in our hearts. RIP dear Chuck.
