Charles L. Hauck's Obituary
Decatur- Charles L. Hauck, 84, of Lincoln formerly of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Maple Ridge Care Center in Lincoln, Illinois.
A service to celebrate the life of Charles will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service. Interment with Military Honors will be in Brown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Charles was born July 2, 1927 in Calumet City, the son of Joseph and Lila Hauck. Charles proudly served his country in the USMC from 1945 to 1949. He married Ruth Voiles- Barnes in 1984; she preceded him in death January of 2003.
Charles is survived by his sons; Joe, Timothy, David, Gene, Michael, and Jeff, step-daughter; Pam Bob Hunt, grandchildren; Suzanne and Jason Hunt and fourteen other grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; Madison, and MaKayla, and three other great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, and one sister.
