I knew Charlie as a helicopter expert and a really good man. I learned a lot from him, both about helicopters and about life. My condolences to his family.Lonnie Jansen
Charlie was always someone that I respected and looked up to. A great leader and even a better person. The first to work and the last to leave, setting the example for all of us. I have too many fond memories of Charlie to share but I hold him in the highest regard as someone that helped shape me a person. Best wishes to his family! Jim Gaddis

I owe my military career to Charley and a few others like him from the ILARNG. If it weren't for the honor and pleasure of serving with them, I wound not be retired military today.
