Charlie was one of the first men thar I met when I joined the guard in 1973, and I never met a more knowligible or ldedicated man. I was proud to call him a friend.
I knew Charlie as a helicopter expert and a really good man. I learned a lot from him, both about helicopters and about life. My condolences to his family.Lonnie Jansen
Charlie was always someone that I respected and looked up to. A great leader and even a better person. The first to work and the last to leave, setting the example for all of us.
