Cheryl Ann Miller's Obituary
Decatur-Cheryl A. Miller, 55, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Boiling Springs Church of God, 2350 Boiling Springs Rd, Decatur. Burial will follow at Boiling Springs Cemetery and conclude with the “Flight Home” Ceremony.
Cheryl Lofland Miller was born on July 19, 1957 to Orville and Pauline Lofland of Kirksville,IL. She worked at Kelly Potato Chips, also worked for Project Success and Decatur Public Schools for 17 years. She had been employed at Brush College Elementary School for 23 years, 34 years as a PTA member, and over 20 years as PTA president. Cheryl loved working with children, loved the outdoors and gardening. Her favorite pass times were spending time with family, her children and her grandkids.
Cheryl is survived by her daughters Brandy Bolsen, Jennifer Bolsen-Gramigna, Sarah Bolsen (soon to be Sarah Swafford), Charly Mpundu, and Cassidy Miller. Son in Laws; Sean Swafford (“Hunka Hunka”) and Future Mpundu. grandkids; Michael Wilder III, Alexsis Gramigna, Austee Gramigna, Kenyon Caldwell, Zion Mpundu, and Tenley Fleming. sisters; Vivian Ewing and Janet Lofland. brothers; Kenneth Lofland, Russell Lofland, and Jeff Lofland, several nieces and nephews. Along with loving and faithful friend Dennis Ritchhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bonnie Craft, and brothers Thomas and Richard Lofland.
Cheryl would like to especially thank one of her best friends Ellen Berger, all her health care providers, Brush College staff, friends, and family. She will be loved and missed by all.
