Clardine M. Mense's Obituary
Clardine M. Mense, of Decatur, died Sunday, October 21, 2007.
Clardine was born in Decatur, the daughter of George and Clara Kamenski Hendrian. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, and was very active in the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Clardine worked for many years as a Secretary at A.E. Staley and a local Accounting firm. She married Arthur L. "Louis" Mense Nov. 23, 1950 and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1997.
She is survived by two sons: Doug Mense of Mt. Zion, and David wife, Ila Mense of Clinton; grandson, Dylan Mense of Mt. Zion; brother, George J. wife, Aleeta Hendrian, Jr. of Perrysburg, OH; and many-many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
In honor of Clardine’s wishes, graveside services will be 1 pm Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at North Fork Cemetery. Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 2 pm at St. James Catholic Church, Rev. Jeff Grant celebrant. There will be no visitation. Memorials: American Cancer Society or St. Teresa High School.
