Clarence MacArthur Taylor's Obituary
Clarence MacArthur Taylor Jr, 71, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was born March 20, 1942 the son of Clarence Taylor and Emma Joe (Jordan) Taylor in Brownsville, TN. He married Shirley Hines on June 20, 1964 in Decatur, she survives.
Clarence loved to work on cars and worked as a mechanic in and around the Decatur area. He also worked at Wagner’s as a molder for ten years.
Cherishing his memories are his wife, daughter Kimberly Louise Singleton, brother Willie T. Taylor of TN, sisters Mamie, Dorothy and Katherine, many nieces and nephews and his favorite cousins Cynthia and Bennie Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Taylor and Emma Joe (Jordan) Taylor , sisters Henrietta Macklin, Lee Anner Taylor Bond, Betty Stevens and Mary J. Shaw, brothers James Taylor and Bobby Taylor.
Visitation services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12 P.M. Pastor Elgin Hawthorne will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
