Cleo Belle Hopkins' Obituary
Cleo Belle Hopkins, 91, Decatur, died April 27, 2008. She was born June 8, 1916 in Bingham, Illinois to Guy and Jessie Shire. She married Harold T. Lucas April 13, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri. He died December 30, 1971. She married Richard Hopkins on January 3, 1979. He died January 16, 1992. She worked for many years in the garment industry in Decatur. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Decatur.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M Thursday May 1, 2008 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Decatur. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral in the church. Memorial gifts are suggested to the church.
She is survived by her children: Florence Coombes of Decatur; Ted Karen Lucas of Buena Vista, Colorado; Terry Linda Lucas of Warrensburg, Illinois; and Sherry Gary Walters of Decatur, Illinois. grandchildren, Lea Doug Stukins of Decatur; Toni Hudson of Decatur; Bunny Lucas of Decatur; Teddi Lucas of Decatur; Rick Lucas of Scottsdale, Arizona; Randy Julie Lucas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tawni Chris Setliff of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Mike Nancy Eller of Oreana; Tom Shannon Eller of Heyworth; Shannon Lucas of Decatur; Mindy Still of Decatur; Shelley Mallory of Mt. Pulaski; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
