Cletus L. Jannink's Obituary
Cletus L. Jannink, 78 of Decatur, died on Sunday March 16, 2003 in his home.
Funeral Liturgy will be 10 A.M. Thursday March 20, 2003 in J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, Fr. Dennis Kollross officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday in the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Cletus was born in Oconee on June 4, 1924 the son of Herman and Mary Lehn Jannink. He worked in the tool crib for 30 years at Caterpillar retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, U.A.W. 751 and a past member of the Knights of Colombus. Cletus married Norma Jean Lockard in Pana on November 9, 1946.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Norma Jean of Decatur; son, Patrick J. Jannink Gale E. of Decatur; daughter, Joanne M. Kater James E. of Decatur; half brothers: Gene Jannink Jenny of Pana; Lawrence Jannink Donna of Pana; grandchildren, Charles B. Jannink, Stephen L. Jannink, Deborah K. Watson, Jennifer M. Kater, Timothy J. Kater; great grandchildren, Jessica, Zackery, Morgan, Aaron Jr., and Briana.
His parents, brother, Carl and sister, Gertrude preceded him in death.
