Decatur-Clint W. Jackson, 'CW' 56, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 in his home with his family by his side.
Services to celebrate Clint's life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 in Moran and Goebel Funeral Home 2801 N. Monroe, St. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Macon County Memorial Park and conclude with Military Honors with the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation. Family requests casual attire.
Clint was born March 11, 1956 in Decatur, the son of James and Mayme 'Harmon' Jackson. He graduated high school and attended college. Clint proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He loved Nascar and even drove race cars himself at Macon Speedway. He also loved to watch movies, cook, the Dallas Cowboys and work on airplanes. Clint worked at AAction Equipment for 26 years and Caterpillar for 6 years.
He leaves behind his wife Jo Ellen Jackson of 14 years; daughter, Jackie (Steve) Brinkley of Decatur; grandchildren, Riley and Parker Brinkley; brothers, Brett Jackson of Dawsonville, GA, David (Alena) Jackson of Moweaqua; father James Jackson of Findlay, IL; step mother, Ruth-Ann Jackson of Findlay, IL; sister in law, Sandy Nadenbush of OH; 2 nieces, Angie and Trudy both of OH; uncles, Tom Harmon of Huntsville, MO, Bill Wickline of Assumption; aunt, Marie Shonkweiler of Decatur; niece, Jaime (Keith) Atkinson of Assumption, Cody (Caitlin) Wickline, cats, Teddy, Spaz, Boots and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mayme 'Harmon' Jackson; brother Jerry Jackson; grandparents, aunt Debbie Wickline; uncle Russ Walters.
