Connie Mae Bell's Obituary
Connie Mae Bell, 63, of Decatur, died Wednesday, August 23, 2007 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Connie was born July 14, 1944, in Detroit, MI; the daughter of James and Nancy Lucinda Hindman Bell, Sr. Connie was a member of First Church of God In Christ where she served on the hospitality committee. She worked in catering at the Chuck Wagon, Ambassador Hotel and Shaw's Catering. Prior to her retirement, Connie worked in housekeeping at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home. Connie was a proud grandparent who loved children and watching soap operas.
She leaves to cherish fond memories her daughter, Carmencita Fonville of Decatur; grandchildren: Charles McKinney, Jr, Charisa-ShonteÃ?´ McKinney, Rashieka Fonville, Zimmory Freeman and D'Marius Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Antoinette Fonville; grandson, Chase McKinney; son, Larthoes Bell and brother, James Bell, Jr.
Farewell and Tribute service will be 12 pm Monday, August 27, 2007 in First Church of God In Christ. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
