Darrell A Baker's Obituary
Darrell A. Baker, 86, of Argenta, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017, at McKinley Court, with his family by his side.
Darrell was born April 12, 1930, in Clinton, IL to Orland R. and Winnie F. (Brown) Baker. He proudly served in the United States Army. He married Phyllis V. (Tuttle) Lowe on December 5, 1959, in Springfield, IL. She passed away May 11, 2015. Darrell was a sheet metal worker for many years with TICA, Inc.
He is survived by his seven children, Darrell W. (Sondra) Baker of Argenta, Nick (Pam) Baker of Argenta, Georgiana Bond of Mansfield, Ohio, Vickie (Darryl) Hiser of Argenta, Sue (Tom) Butera of Decatur, Mary (Doug) Bond of Argenta, Rick (Cindy) Baker of Decatur; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Edith Baker of Weldon, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis; and his twin brother, Dean Baker.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Darrell Baker will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Inurnment will be at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta following the service at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard at the cemetery.
