Delores L. Brandon's Obituary
Harristown – Delores Brandon, 81, of Harristown, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, in her home surrounded by family.
Delores was born January 18, 1942. She married Bobby G. Brandon on February 14, 1960.
Delores was a homemaker until 1989 when she lost her husband Bobby, the love of her life. She worked at a few different places over the years until retiring, including CHELP, Fannie May and Lowe’s. She also volunteered her time at Hope’s Attic.
Delores, a strong woman who loved the Lord, read her bible every day. She liked to shop, go to rummage sales and be with her family. Delores dressed to impress from her head to her toes. Outfit, shoes, purse, jewelry, everything matching, and she did not leave her house without her lipstick. Delores was also a collector of many things, from angels to peacocks.
Delores is survived by her son Robert Brandon and wife Terrie; grandchildren: Bobby Brandon and wife Kd, Malyssha Neering, Krista Bradshaw and husband Kyle; step grandson Chad Osman and wife Erin; great grandchildren: Christopher Jaxson (Jax), Landyn, Brody, and Kali.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband Bobby, son Terry, daughter Michelle, and great granddaughter Alonna.
Graveside services will be 1pm, Friday, May 19, 2023, at Harristown Twp Cemetery, Harristown, IL. There will be no visitation. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.moranandgoebel.com.
