DeLores E. McCrory's Obituary
DeLores E. McCrory, 70, of Decatur, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2007.
Farewell and tribute services celebrating her life will be 11 am Saturday, April 7, 2007 in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. C.D. Stuart officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the services in the funeral home.
DeLores was born on August 17, 1936 to Nelson J. and Amanda E. Odeneal. The eldest of six children, Delores graduated from Stephen Decatur High School and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. DeLores later enrolled at Springfield Memorial School of Nursing, Springfield, IL, where she attained her degree as a Registered Nurse. DeLores was a member of the Decatur chapter of The Eastern Star and the Decatur Women's Progressive Club.
Delores is survived by her children: Anthony D. McCrory of Vallejo, California,
Martin Michelle McCrory of Bloomington, IN, Lisa Freeman of Bloomington, IN, Kerry Ellawee McCrory of Chicago, IL, and Maria Stanley of Decatur, IL;
sisters: Josphen Odeneal of Springfield, IL and Gloria Williams of Decatur, IL; brother, Micheal Odeneal of Decatur, IL; as well as a host of grand and great grandchildren.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents Nelson J. and Amanda E. Odeneal, two brothers Nelson P. and Ernest D.
The family of DeLores E. McCrory is being served by the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St. Decatur IL.
