Delvin Fredric Beimfohr's Obituary
Delvin Fredric Beimfohr, 74, of Forsyth, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at his home.
Delvin was born May 22, 1942 in Decatur, to Laverne Arthur and Georgia Aretha (Ford) Beimfohr. He was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School. He served in the Army during Vietnam. Delvin was co-owner of Ornamental Metal Works for many years.
He was deeply devoted and involved in his work. He was a firm believer in the “Golden Rule” and would “give you the shirt off his back”. Delvin was an avid lover of animals and wildlife. He was a good friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Following the wishes of the family, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. Memorials may be directed to the Children’s Miracle Network or Homeward Bound Animals Shelter.
