Jim, Scott, Jeff, Julie and Family,I was just informed by my brother of your loss. I always had a great amount of respect for Dema Jane and believe me that if anyone is familiar with your pain of losing her, I am. Although, we have all gone our seperate ways as so often happens in life, Dema Jane, Jim and all of you are etched into my childhood. I remember summer days in which she would make Scott, Jeff, and I stop playing and give us a big cup of Cool Aid with the instructions of don't drink it all if you want some later…pretty funny. In 2000, she and Jim attended my mother's service and I have never forgotten that. I am just glad that I got to thank them for that. You all are in our hearts and prayers tonight and always. Though the years and many moves have separated us by distance, I remember fondly a few weeks spent with Jim and Dema Jane and the then very young Scott and Jeff one impressionable summer. I think the long talks in the afternoon with Dema Jane in the kitchen about the importance of education, playing ball with the boys and the kids in the neighborhood and the evenings spent with Jim in the basement watching ball games and late nite pepperoni pizza were the reason I could recover from the loss of my own dad Jim's uncle Harold.
