Diana Deane Queen's Obituary
Diana Deane Queen, 71, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born April 27, 1944 in South Wheatland, IL to Bernard Michael and Eulah Hildred (Leek) Kohlbecker. She married James Thomas Queen on April 16, 1962.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James; her three children, Charles Robert Queen, Robyn Leigh (Dan) Robertson, Kevin James (Valerie) Queen; ten grandchildren, Josh, Danny, Whitney Zehr, Cayleigh, Chris, Kenny, Jessica, Sadie, Courtney and Diana; seven great-grandchildren, Trentyn, Lilian, Jackson, Analise, Parker, Trevyn, Tristyn; two great-great-grandchildren, Serena and Layli; two sisters, Roberta (Mike) Childs and Sue (Terry) Hedding.
She was preceded in death her parents; her step-father, Leon Proctor and her brother, Sonny Kohlbecker.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Diana Queen will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
