So sorry to hear of Diana's passing... We saw her last August at our Class of '61 reunion in Warrensburg. We all had a good time, Diana was very social, and she really enjoyed the evening. She also came to our Sunday morning breakfast in Decatur. We send our condolences to the family, and we hope you've found comfort in the many memories you share.

Brenda Jarrett lit a candle in memory of Diana Story
I just heard of this sorrowful passing of my dear friend ; Diane. I was saddened to hear of her passing as i did not know that she was so very ill. I thought she was not feeling well but thought she was just staying in her apartment. Diane and I had many hours fun playing dice and just plain talking about everyday activities. She often assisted me in getting to places as she would say that she was my "guide dog(person). She was a very helpful person when it came to assisting anyone needing such help. One day we talked about the many things she had done during her life and found that many of the things she did I also had done. But then I guess that those types of conversations were not uncommon. Did we do anything spectacular not really but we enjoyed each others company. She was very excited when she could introduce me to her daughter information regarding basic braille . Her daughter was very helpful in filling in the blanks for me as my daughter disregarded the many braille items I had as being important to me so she discarded them.
