Dolores M Midden's Obituary
Decatur-Dolores M. Midden, 86, of Decatur, died Monday, August 15, 2011, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Dolores was born on February 17, 1925, in Decatur, the daughter of Thomas A. and Mary Ellen Murphy Moran. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary Post 99. She was a Partner of Midden Supply Company. She married Robert Edwin Midden on January 15, 1946 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, M. Ann Midden of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Jack Moran, Thomas E. Moran, and Glennis Moran, and a one sister, Genevieve Layng.
Thank you to Dr. Fritz, Dr. Kola and the staff of DMH ER and 4100 for the dignity and care given to Dolores on her final journey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 20, 2001 in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Weltin as Celebrant, with visitation one hour prior in the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery and conclude with the “Flight Home” ceremony. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church or DMH Foundation.
