Donald W. Boulware's Obituary
Donald W. Boulware, 81, of Decatur, died on Wed. Jan. 19, 2005 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Graveside services celebrating his life will be conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard at 11 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2005 in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund, P.O. Box 235, Morton IL, 61550.
Donald was born on May 1, 1923 in Decatur, the son of Albert McKinley and Lilly Pearl Lanham Boulware. He worked for 25 years as a machinist at Caterpillar before he retired in 1985 and was a WWII Army veteran. Donald married Mary E. Danner on April 22, 1945 and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2002.
Surviving are his children: Gary Janie Boulware of Decatur; Vicki David Goacher of Decatur; sisters: Beulah Shellabarger of Peoria and Janice M. Smith of Decatur; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary.
