I was just at the cemetary this past weekend to put some new flowers on Karen's grave and noticed that there was nothing in her mom's vase. That being so unusual I took a closer look and noticed the date etched on Mr. Davis's name. My heart sunk. I had no idea that he passed. My sympathies to the family for losing such a kind, loving person. He is certainly back to taking care of his family that was waiting for him. The world is less for his loss. Springfield, IL

I will truly miss my dear friend. Don and I first became friends when we were grade school age and going to the same neighborhood church in Galesburg. Then we attended the same Jr. High and then High School together. We graduated and went our different directions. Then we both ended up in Decatur. We both lost our spouse and became best buddies again. He was the most kind-hearted and giving person I ever met in my life. My children, grandsons, and I will miss him so much.
