Donald Golden's Obituary
Don Golden lost his life to a long battle with cancer. He had a better attitude and more courage than I have ever seen. He was born February 06, 1958 to Bobby Rae and Bobbie Jean Strayhorn Golden in Fairfield. He went to many schools around the area. He worked for PCM at ADM for many years. He loved to play pool and played on many leagues in town. Don was a kind person that loved life, family and friends very much.
Funeral Services for Don will be held 10:30 am Monday August 23, 2004 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday August 22, 2004 also in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help pay for the medical bills, Don has acquired. Family requests casual attire to be worn for the service. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. View the online obituary and send condolences to the family at: www.moranandgoebel.com

A special thank you goes to Dr. Wade for the wonderful care he gave Don, if it wasn’t for him being such a caring Doctor, Don wouldn’t of made it this long. Another thank you goes to DMH Hospice, they are so wonderful. Thanks also goes out to Kevin, Connie, Judy and Jeff for always being there trying to make things better in a very hard time.
It took a long time for Don and Debbie to find each other but when they did, life was so good for both of them.
