Donald Grant Risley 81 of Decatur Died at 4:10 pm Tuesday August 8, 2006 in the VA Illiana Health Care System Danville, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday 12, 2006 in St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Jeff Grant as celebrant. Visitation will be one before the service in the church. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to St. James Restoration Fund.
Donald was born on November 11, 1924 in Decatur the son of T.W. "Tiny" and Frieda Josephine Scholz Risley. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He served his country during WWII in the US Army.
Surviving are his brothers, Thomas Risley Cheryl Miller of Decatur; Robert R. Risley Holly Jirka of Decatur; William Risley Maryanne of Florissant, MO; sisters, Rose Kuizinas of Attica, IN; Ruth Hill of Portland, MI; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters.
