Donna Jean Ratliff's Obituary
Donna Jean Ratliff, 67 departed from earth to eternity on May 24, 2021 at 10:09 p.m.
Donna was born on June 20, 1953 in Memphis, TN the daughter of James E. Morris and Mary Lou (Horton) Morris. Donna graduated from Tilghman High School, Paducah, Kentucky. Donna raised some of her siblings before venturing off into her own journey. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She later married. She moved to Fort Wayne and worked as a Supervisor in Housekeeping. Donna moved to Decatur, IL in 1984.
Donna was a faithful member to COLG PGT #2 under the leadership of Bishop Thomas L. Cooper. Where Donna loved to worship, fellowship, and serve. God called Donna to a mission to help serve at COLG PGT #4 under the leadership of late Pastor Benjamin B. White. When Pastor White could no longer lead, Donna continue to serve under Bishop E. F. Gray until God sent her back home to COLG PGT #2 where Elder Jefferson Smith is her Pastor until God called her to Glory.
Donna impact so many lives, she loved to help and make people feel good. Donna gift to serve was beyond amazing. It was her duty to do the will of the Lord and she succeeded.
She leaves not to mourn but to cherish her loving memories: her children: Mary Ratliff and Cleopatra Ratliff both of Decatur; Sheba Ratliff of Georgia: Moses Ratliff of Tennessee; Grandchildren: JaQuan Ratliff, Karington Ratliff, Markiyah Wilder, Azaya Wilder, and a host of other beautiful grandchildren; 2 living brothers and 4 beautiful living sisters. With a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother and father, 1 sister and 4 brothers.
