Doris was a 2nd cousin to my x-husband, Gary Brandon. She and I and my 3 Girls, stayed really close, until we all started moving away. The 4 of us, had some really good times together. Cousin Doris,When I was 11 my parents divorced and we moved from TN to Decatur, my heart hurt so much because I missed my Brandon Family in TN. You were always my Decatur tie to those Brandons. I loved being with you because you reminded me so much of all of the ones we had moved away from. You were home away from home. I don't know how many times we made that trip back and forth to Red Boiling Springs together while I was growing up,but I will always remember us taking the back roads in Gamaliel and you telling me stories of growing up there and my roots. Go in peace sweet, loving lady! I loved you so much. For Doris' family, I am so sorry for your loss.
