Dorothy Kathryn Fitzgerald's Obituary
Kay was born in Decatur on August 18, 1936 a daughter of Herbert F. and Dorothy Kathryn Connelly Nalefski. She was a housewife. A member of St. James Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth Society at St. James, a volunteer teacher at St. James School, and a troop leader for the Girl Scouts. She married John E. Fitzgerald in Decatur on April 7, 1956 and he survives.
Other survivors include: sons, John E. Fitzgerald, Jr., wife Sue of Decatur, David A. Fitzgerald, wife Cynthia of Decatur; daughters, Kathryn M. Bragg, husband James of Decatur, Judith A. Fitzgerald of Decatur, and Ann E. Krizan, and husband John of Winston Salem, N.C..; brother, James H. Nalefski, wife Martha of Decatur; sister, Joyce A. Nalefski of Decatur. 11 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents.
