To say that the world has lost one of its good guys is an enormous understatement.
Doug and I coached together at St. Teresa and shared too many 6:00 am practices in a cold gym.
Doug had a true passion for St. Teresa and its students - especially the kids he coached.
My heart goes out to Carla. Probably too many times she fed us if we just happened to stop by their house around dinner time...
To Jared and Jennica - your Dad was truly one of the great guys I have ever known, and it was my honor to call him a friend. He was always so proud of you.
I imagine you will see a huge outpouring of love for your Dad today. I wish I could make it. I hope when you see how much he meant to so many people it will provide some peace and comfort.
