Earleen G. Meyer's Obituary
Earleen G. Meyer, 93, of Decatur, formerly of St. Louis, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Lincolnshire Place.
She was born May 29, 1924, in St. Louis, MO, to Timothy and Dorothy (Stine) Dunn. She married Joseph H. Meyer on May 30, 1949 in St. Louis, MO. He passed away November 13, 2014. Earleen volunteered for many projects that assisted veterans, babies and the sick. She enjoyed golfing and bowling in her free time.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Leslie) Meyer of Decatur; her grandson, Joe Meyer; her brother, Joseph Dunn of Grand Blanc, MI and her sister, Joanne (John) Parisi of St. Louis, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Jeanne Meyer; and two brothers, Tony and Don Dunn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday before the service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, Catholic Charities or Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
