Eddie L. Bond's Obituary
Decatur-Eddie L. Bond passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Eddie was born on July 4, 1923 in Brownsville, TN the son of Thomas and Berta Harper Bond. He married Fannie Bond on February 4, 1943 in Mississippi. He was a faithful member and trustee at Greater Northside Missionary Baptist Church for many years.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife Fannie M. Bond; sister, Dorothy Alonzo Wrenn of Saginaw, MI; special nephew, Calvin L. Graves; special niece, Helen Davis; special friend, Rena Falls; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Albert, John, Dave, Raymond, Wilbert, Robert, Alberta, Mildred, and Sarah.

Homegoing service will be 11:00 am Friday, October 14, 2011 in Greater Northside Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Waddell officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday in Moran &Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery and conclude with the “Flight Home” ceremony.
