Edna E. Wisley's Obituary
Edna E. Wisley 97 of Decatur died Friday October 31, 2008 in her home.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday November 4, 2008 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Weise officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Edna was born on December 26, 1910 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Fred and Marie A. Pannek Kresin. She worked as a button hole for Osgood’s Garment Factory for over 47 years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She married Robert Wisley in 1960 he preceded her death on March 2, 1998.
Surviving are her son John Wisley Mary of Ocala, FL; grandchildren Marshall Wisley of Decatur; Lisa Popis Dan of Latham; Wayne Wisley Barb of Mt. Zion; Curt Wisley Dawn of Clinton; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kurt J. Heimbrecht and caretaker, Carla Rowe for all their care.
