Edward Lee Larck's Obituary
Edward Lee Larck, 82, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Edward was born on November 12, 1931 in Hurricane, WV the son of Cecil F. and Margaret Larck. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and retired from Grigoleit Manufacturing.
He was a member of the VFW Post 99 and the DAV. He was an avid Cardinal fan. He married Violet Durbin on April 22, 1974 in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife, Violet, son, David Larck (Valerie) of Lovington; daughters, Lawanda Woodard (Charles) of Thornton, CO; Loretta Marsh (Harold) of Newton; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
Funeral service to celebrate Edward’s life will be 1 PM Monday, July 7, 2014 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, Safe Harbor Hospice, or Wounded Warrior Project.
