Edward Sterling Wells' Obituary
Edward Sterling Wells, 54, of Decatur passed away suddenly at 12:03 pm on Monday March 13, 2006 in the Emergency Room at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:15 am Friday March 17, 2006 in Saint Patrick Catholic Church, where Rev. Jeffrey Grant will celebrate. Inurnment will be in Cape Girardeau, MO at a later date. Memorials are suggested to be given to the American Heart Association or your choice. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is assisting the Wells family with these arrangements.
Edward was born on August 24, 1951 in Kansas City, MO the son of Joseph H. and Clare Miller Wells. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a service representative for McDonald-Douglas for over 18 years. He was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Decatur.
Edward leaves behind his loving mother, Clare of Decatur, brother; Joseph D. Wells and wife Claudia of Newington, CT, sisters; Mary Danielson of Decatur and Rebecca Peacock and husband Tom of Elizabeth, CO, two nieces and five nephews.
Edward was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
