Eileen Milligan's Obituary
Eileen M. Milligan, 61, of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 5, 2019.
Eileen was born June 14, 1957 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of James William Smith and Barbara Jane (Bresnan) Alexander.
Eileen was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She graduated from Lakeview High School. Eileen was a member of the Decatur Association of Realtors and had served as a realtor for 28 years, last serving as a realtor for Vieweg Realty. During her leisure she enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time at the beach.
Surviving are her children, Leslie Johnson (Brian) of Decatur, IL, Beth Bruntjen (Adam) of Forsyth, IL, Josh Milligan (Amanda) of Dalton City, IL, Jessica Milligan of Decatur, IL; siblings, James Smith (Michelle) of Decatur, IL, Larry Alexander of Bolingbrook, IL, Diane Gifford (Bruce) of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Jaxson, Liam, Michelena, Sophie, and Paige.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Fran Riley and Pam Zimmerman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM, Friday evening at Holy Family Catholic Church with Prayer service to begin at 4:30 PM. Burial will be held at St. Isadore Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to American Cancer Society.
A very special thank you to Uncle Larry and Aunt Butch (Alice) without whom Eileen would not have turned out to be the person she was. Your never-ending support meant so much to all of us.
