Ella Louise “Mickey” Templeton, 85, of Decatur, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008.
Mickey was born February 5, 1923 in Decatur, to Earl and Lula Oliver Hazel. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Surviving are her son, Terry Ellis Beverley; grandsons, Bill Ellis Kay, of Bloomington; and Chris Ellis Alison of Riverton; grandchildren, Christopher, Chandler, Conner, Clayton and Elijah; nieces and nephews, Lonnie Hazel; Trudy Smith Charlie; Connie Tish Jeff; Kathy Hazel-Jackson Harry; Bobby Hazel Birgitt; Mary Beth Moeller Greg; and Tammie Acree Troy.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernie Templeton; son, David; and 2 brothers, Robert Hazel, and Harold E. Hazel.
The family will receive friends from 11 am – 12 noon, Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, with Pastor Joe Savage officiating. Burial will take place in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in her honor to Christ United Methodist Church of Decatur.
