Elsie was my family's babysitter in the fifties. Even though I was quite young, I remember how sweet, loving and beautiful she was. My dad always spoke very highly of her long after she left. We were delighted to receive a sympathy card and note from her when he died in 09 and thrilled to see for the first time in over 50 years when she came to our mother's visitation in November. Dear uncle Jr. We will all miss Aunt Tippy but we know her life and her beautiful smile and all of the memories we have live on in you. We can't be with you today, but we are there in spirit just as I know she will alway's be by your side until you see her again in that beautiful city of God. She will suffer no more and she goes to prepare a place that we all must go to someday. We love you and Aunt Tippy. We know she loved us too. She never let a family function go by without letting us know "don't forget to call Larry and Yolonda". She had such a big heart and such a good understanding of family. You have been blessed with such a beautiful partner in life, now she's up there making sure that when all of us are ready we can attend that big Family reunion on the other side. We were blessed to meet sister Tippy when we began attending The Church of The Living God in Springfield. She always had a pleasant smile and personality.
