Elvin L. Cabbage's Obituary
Elvin L. Cabbage, 66, of Decatur, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in his home.
Elvin was born October 17, 1941, in Memphis, TN, the son of Irvin and Jessie Cabbage. He worked at Wagner Castings and later as a bartender.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Chris Lawson of Decatur; mother, Jessie Cabbage of Memphis, TN; sister, Sheila Fisher of Memphis, TN; brothers: Steve and Charles Cabbage of Memphis, TN, and Van Cabbage of Olympia, WA; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial service will be 11 am, Saturday, December 15, 2007, in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, Rev. Edd Jackson officiating. Burial will take place at a later time
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Richard; and two sisters: Kathy and Sandra.
The family of Elvin L. Cabbage is being served by the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St. Decatur.
