I am so sorry to hear of this early passing of my childhood friend. Although I have not seen Rick in many years, it is with fond memories that I recall carefree days spent with dear families from our church. Lake Helen was especially wonderful and I pray that God gives peace and grace to the entire Eichel family. Much love… St. Pete Beach, FL US

Rick was a good friend. Lots of great memories from back in the old LHS days. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family. I loved Rick, exept for those stinking head butts he would give me. I think he forgot he wasnt wearing a football helmet…lol He always had a smile and a hug for ya if he liked ya. He always treated my folks like they were his. and they thought the world of him. gonna miss his smile. Monticello, IL US
Dearest Don and Irma, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Rick. I knew him from my days at Lake Helen Bible Camp. He was such a soft hearted person. My heart breaks for the both of you. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be to lose a child. Because even though they are grown, our kids never stop being our children. Please know that I will be lifting both of you and the whole Eichel family up in prayer. I love you all. Teresa Mt. Zion, IL US
