Erma Sheree Johnson's Obituary
Decatur – Erma Sheree Johnson, 56, of Decatur, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019.
Erma was born August 6, 1962 in Decatur, the daughter of Walter D. Fox and Jerlean Emerson. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1979 and from CASPN in the 80’s. She worked as an LPN for several years at Hope School in Springfield. She also worked at McKinley Court in Decatur and Piatt County Nursing Home, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Brownsville, TN. She was a dedicated mother, frequent traveler and an avid green thumb.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; son, Tiheyon Freeman; and sisters: Kendra and Luella Johnson.
Left to cherish fond memories are her children: Michael T. Williams, Jr of Decatur, Shareesah Johnson of Memphis, TN, AzSha Johnson of Decatur and Colten Jones of Decatur; three grandchildren; special son, Jeremy Hood of Decatur; siblings: Annette Perry of Decatur, Hubert Johnson, Jr of Dallas, TX, Debra Johnson of Decatur, Clifford Johnson of Dallas, TX, Michelle Warnsley of Decatur and Marques Johnson of Dallas, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives including special cousin Therese Owens; and friends including special friend Markita Portee.
Homegoing services to celebrate her life will be 11 am Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
