Ernest Franklin Cutler's Obituary
Ernest Franklin Cutler, 81, of Decatur passed away early Sunday morning, October 26, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Ernest was born May 29, 1933, in Decatur to Charles Franklin and Dorothy (Buskirk) Cutler. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Ed) Cathcart of Decatur; one brother, William (Rebecca) Cutler of Idaho; two sisters, Lorraine (Don) Goviea of Peoria and Alice Hayes of Forsyth; two grandchildren, Amy Cathcart and Trevor Cutler; and the love of his life, Virginia Nanna and her family, Rick, Eric, Dena, Colleen and Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Charles Ernest Cutler and one sister, Opal Phee.
Graveside services celebrating Ernest’s life will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014, at Point Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family or to the donor’s choice.
