Esther May Huddleston's Obituary
Warrensburg-Esther May Huddleston, 98, of Warrensburg, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Esther was born January 6, 1918 in Millersville, Illinois, the daughter of Wade and Rosa (Abbott) Stephens. She was a devoted homemaker and member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church. Esther enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She married Ray E. Huddleston in 1938. He preceded her in death on November 28, 1989.
Esther leaves behind her sons Robert Huddleston of Oreana and David Huddleston and wife Tanya of Dalton City, grandchildren Jeremy and Melissa, step-grandson Scott, great-grandchildren Isabel and Amylie, and step-great-grandchildren Sydni, Kameron, and Gavin.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, one son, and one daughter.
Services to celebrate Esther’s life will be 11 AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery in Warrensburg. Memorials in Esther’s honor are suggested to The National Parkinson Foundation or the Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
