Eunice "Rob" Underwood's Obituary
Eunice “Rob” Underwood, 86, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Rob was born on November 23, 1929 in Louisville, KY the son of Ellis and Lessie (Elmore) Underwood. He was a farmer and he served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He then joined the Boilermakers Union Local 60. He attended Gospel Chapel. He loved the Lord. Jesus came first and then his dog, Paul. He married Betty Whitney on December 4, 1980 in Missouri.
Surviving are his wife Betty; son, Larry Underwood; daughter, Joy Walker, step-children, Jenny Tipton, Judy Norm, Robin Whitney, Robert Whitney, and Jack Whitney; and many step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Clell Underwood, Merrile Underwood, and Otis Underwood; and 2 sisters, Elsie and Christine.
Graveside service to celebrate Rob’s life will be 1 PM Friday, September 30, 2016 in Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton. Memorials are suggested to Symphony of Decatur Activities Fund.
