In 1953 Mam and her husband Orville sponsored a foreign exchange student from Germany, Anne Graf, who became as a daughter to them. She married Orville Bell on June 6, 1926 and together they raised one son Gene Jan Bell; one daughter, Doris Walt Morganthaler, and one foster daughter, Anne Zingale. She also leaves five grandchildren, Mike Denise Morganthaler, Greg Jill Morganthaler, John Bell, Steve Bev Bell and Debbie Scott Sherwood; eight, great-grandchildren and nine, great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville, and son, Gene Bell.
The family would like to thank Mam’s caregiver of the past six months, Evon Tolle, for her loving care, support and prayers. Mam was jovial and uncomplaining to the end. We will all miss her loving spirit.
