Eva Annette Giles Marohl, 65, of Deactur, passed away at 2 a.m. on Thursday April 1, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Please dress in casual attire. Dinner to be held after services at New Hope Temple, 720 E. Van Buren, Decatur. Send condolences to www.moranandgoebel.com.
Eva was born August 25, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Arthur and Eva Cummings. Her
She leaves behind her sons, James Tubs Giles; Arthur Bubby Giles; Eric Bull Giles and wife Marcia, all of Decatur; brothers, Dean and Steve Hopkins, both of Chatahoochee, Fla., Mike and Tom Hopkins, both of Noble, Okla.; and Gary Hopkins of Decatur; grandchildren, Ericke Giles, Freddie Giles, Michael Botzum, all of Decatur; Jeffery Botzum of Mo.; great-grandchildren, Blake, Mackenzie and Alex Botzum.
Eva had many friends and family. Everyone knew her by a different name.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Al and Vern Dahlbeck.
