Larry, Jim and Barney - I was so sad to hear of Happy's passing. She was a wonderful person, mom, and wife, full of joy. I will never forget the fun-filled days of summer playing at the Luckenbill's house - Shakespeare in tow! (It's still amazing to me that Larry and Happy let us dig an underground fort in their back yard - WOW!) I remember one time in particular, when Barney and I were downstairs goofing around in a large cardboard box and I fell over and smacked my head on the basement floor. I was very scared and I remember how relieved I felt when Happy came downstairs to tend to me... and I also remember thinking how awesome it was that Jim and Barney had a nurse for a mom!
To all of the Luckenbills - you are in my prayers during this time of grief and celebration.
