Everett Donald Zientara 81 of Decatur died on Friday May 30, 2003 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday June 3, 2003 in Union Cemetery Oreana, IL with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M. Monday in J.J. Mr. Zientara was born on June 13, 1921 in Decatur, IL the son of William and Beulah Nihiser Zientara. He was a WWII Army veteran. He worked as a Machinist for the York Division of Borg Warmer and as a security guard for Pinkerton Security at Union Planter and Soy Capital Banks. He married Lois Danner on March 28, 1942 in St. Charles, MO.
He is survived by his wife, son, Michael Zientara and wife Maria of Decatur, IL; daughters, Beverly Smith of Decatur, IL; Linda Terrell and husband Bob of Decatur, IL; brothers, Herbert Zientara and wife Norma of Gifford, IL; Elmer Zientara of Mt. Zion, IL; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Ronald, and one brother William.
