F. Louise Sarver's Obituary
Decatur-F. Louise Sarver, 85, of Decatur, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Louise was born August 31, 1929 in Mechanicsburg, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Fannie Bilbe. She was previously employed as the manager of the Shore Restaurant and then as a lunch supervisor with Grant School. She was a member and past-president of the PTA at Grant School. Louise enjoyed crocheting, bingo, crappie fishing, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She was always willing to lend an ear over a cup of coffee at her home. She married Nelson G. Sarver on October 18, 1959. They shared over fifty-five years together.
Louise leaves behind her husband Nelson, daughters Frances (Robert) Petty, Laura Newingham, and Susan Olson, sister Evelyn Traughber, and grandchildren Robert J. Petrie, Jacob M.N. Petrie, Brandon R. Newingham, Victoria Petty, Rebecca Petty, Cassandra Petty, Sara Olson, and Shae Olson.
Louise was reunited in Heaven with her parents, five brothers, and six sisters.
Services to celebrate Louise’s life will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association.
