Fannie Margaret Bloch, 75 of Oreana, IL died Tuesday December 7, 2004 in Scott & White Hospital, Temple, TX.
Graveside services will be 11:30 am Monday, December 13, 2004 in the Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Margaret was born in Cerro Gordo, IL on February 3, 1929 the daughter of Simpson and Lovey Mae Goken Halcom. She was a retired farm wife and nurses aid from Decatur Memorial Hospital. She worked as a Kindergarten classroom volunteer in daughter Harriet's classroom in Temple, TX where she wintered. She was devoted to her family, loved to travel, and especially visit the ocean. She married Harry K. Bloch on December 28, 1951 in Cerro Gordo, IL he preceded her in death on December 19, 2000.
Surviving are her daughters, Margaret Rupert of Portage, IN; and Harriet Bloch of Temple, TX; numerous close relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, two sisters, and son-in-law.
