Fannie Mae Bond's Obituary
Fannie Mae Bond, 91, of Decatur, IL passed away peacefully at her home in Decatur, June 16, 2019.
Fannie was born December 20, 1927, in Brownsville, TN, the daughter of Charlie T. and Levirtha (Reed) Bond, Sr. She married Eddie L. Bond during 1943 in Mississippi.
Fannie was a longtime member and Mother of Greater Northside Baptist Church. She served her church in many different capacities. She enjoyed traveling, crochet, shopping and spending time with her loving family.
Fannie leaves behind to help cherish her memory, her siblings, Mazetta Maxwell of Milwaukee, WI, Guster Latson of Decatur, IL; niece, Sherry Latson of Decatur, IL; nephews, Calvin Graves of Decatur, IL, and Stevenson Latson of Decatur, IL.
Preceding in death are her husband, Eddie; parents; siblings, Charlie T. Bond, Jr., Robert L. Bond, Edgar Bond, Luster Bond, Eldred Bond, Evelyn Millege, Gebratha Perry, Laura Bond, Virgie Bond, many other nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A Homegoing Service to Celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Greater Northside Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 AM, Friday, June 28, 2019 at Greater Northside Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
